You may use mobile devices and point-and-shoot or compact cameras to caputre images for your own private and domestic use (but you shall not use professional level photography or filming equipment). The following rules apply:
– Photographs to be taken only in areas to which you have been granted access by the racecourse managing excutive.
-Photography on the racing surface and of/within integrity and equine areas is strictly forbidden; Weighing Room, Pre-Parade, Parade Ring (except when a presentation is taking place), Saddling Boxes, Veterinary Facility or any other area specified by the Managing Excutive.

– You must not allow a third party to use such images for any commercial purpose and will notify the operator immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of those images.
You cannot take images for commercial purposes without prior permission from the racecourse and provision of press accreditation. Permission in some instances may be possible for amateur photographers with high quality equipment, by visiting the racecourse office and signing the required document to ensure you comply with the racecourse terms and conditions.
Can I smoke and where?
Smoking is permitted in the allocated smoking rings across the racecourse. Smoking is not permitted in the grandstands.
Where is the best place to stay overnight?
We would recommend The Clive, Ludlow. It is just half a mile from the racecourse. Here is their website –
https://www.theclive.co.uk
Alternatively, there are lots of places to stay in Ludlow itself and you could get a taxi to/from the course. PLEASE ASK THE RACECOURSE OFFICE AND WE WILL HELP AND ADVISE.
