PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19 THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS TO NUMBERS ALLOWED AT THE RACECOURSE! 

Annual membership of Ludlow Race Club runs from 1st January to 31st December and costs £235 per person. For this you get a members badge, car park pass and use of the Annual Members Lounge which is situated in the Plymouth Stand. The annual members car park is accessed from the Ludlow end. Access is good for all areas.

Annual members also get 2 guest badges with their membership (value £46) and they are able to purchase 2 additional guest badges per meeting at the reduced price of £27.00 per person if they want to bring friends or family along to enjoy a day’s racing.

There is a bar in the Annual Members Lounge and lunches and snacks are available to purchase throughout the day. Homemade Soup of the Day & French bread (£4.20), Casserole and French bread (£7.50), Sausage Roll (£2.95), Assorted Cakes (£3.50), Scones with Jam and Clotted Cream (£3.50), Hot Chocolate (£2.60). Please note that it is strictly forbidden to bring your own food and drink into the racecourse.

There is also a betting facility in the Annual Members Lounge, so once there, you don’t have to move if you don’t want to. If you do want to, though, it is an easy walk from lounge/bar to paddock to the stand or roof to watch the race, to the winners enclosure and back to the bar! Disabled access to all these areas (apart from the roof) is also good.

We are always looking for new members at Ludlow and would be happy to show you round if you wanted to come and see the set-up yourself. The Annual Members Lounge is a big, warm, comfortable space situated just beyond the finishing post and opposite the paddock. Visitors often comment that it is the nicest members area of all the local racecourses and we are delighted to hear that!

We are also keen to organise stable visits and other trips for members’ if that is of interest and are open to ideas and suggestions. This year’s AGM is on Tuesday 27th October 2020.  Details are being sent to all members in the post.  We will only be able to welcome a limited number of Members due to Social Distancing protocol.  We will be inviting questions via email for those not able to attend.  Details will be enclosed with AGM notes.
